What to Expect When You Visit Our Student Massage Clinic
During your first visit, you will complete a confidential health history as part of your assessment. The Massage Student will assess your individual needs as well as other factors that may be contributing to your injury or condition. The Massage Student will then develop a treatment plan to ensure you receive appropriate treatment. You have no obligation to undergo any part of a treatment. Your treatment will begin once you have given your informed consent. An instructor will check in with the student during your treatment to answer any questions and ensure your treatment is appropriate.
Our students are learning to be health professionals, and as such, we follow professional guidelines to keep your health history strictly confidential and secure.
Our students will spend 75 minutes with you on each visit, approximately 15 minutes for the assessment and 60 minutes for the massage.
The cost is $25. We accept cash or major bank credit cards for payment. We do not accept American Express or reward cards.
Please be aware that this is a learning environment with both male and female students. You are not able to request a specific gender for your massage. This allows ALL students the opportunity to complete their required clinic hours by graduation.
